OUR EQUIPMENT AND ACTIVITIES
Careful climbing and problem-solving capacities are required.
Bright colourful LED lights reflect brilliantly off the metallic checkerplate surface to create another visually stimulating challenge with handhold options: palming, undercling and pinch. This iconic climb offers lots and lots of ways to climb on a unique terrain. Careful climbing and problem-solving capacities are required.
Difficult route, using the under-cling handholds.
This popular stunning bright and coloured element is an excellent first climb for younger climbers who can go straight up the middle as if they were climbing a ladder. Challenging for fit and flexible adults who can work their way to the top via the most difficult route, using the under-cling handholds.
Three tracks indicated by the colours the strings turn.
Short ropes and dune-shaped feet with fine edges make the challenge exciting and physical, as it requires strength and balance. The end of the strings is equipped with a hand grip to provide a better grip. On the three lines indicated by the colors, the strings turn and wrap to the top and the angular surfaces of the feet add to the difficulty.
Balance and body movement are required to beat this wall.
A unique climb designed to reflect the ice axe technique used in real ice climbing. Climbers place their ‘axes’ in holes in the top of each hold, which also doubles as the foothold and work their way steadily up the climb. You’ll need a great sense of balance and body movement to beat this awesome challenge!
Reach the top and become a Chess Grand Master.
A sharply defined chessboard backdrop makes this climbing challenge a simple but dramatic attention grabber. Check the colour of the handholds to find your route before starting and move like a chess figure… Reach the top and become a Chess Grand Master.
Three routes designed to be functional in four orientations.
A visually whimsical interpretation of a scattering of clouds… Ascend through the clouds via one of the three routes indicated by the colour of the holds. The circular holds are designed to be functional in any one of four orientations, to enable excellent route setting. And you have plenty of rest places to admire the view!
Unique challenge requires body positioning to maintain balance.
Beautiful climbing wall in the form of a lightning bolt. Climbing a ‘crack’ is a unique challenge for climbers as it requires good body positioning to maintain balance. The offset nature of this feature (side-pull technique with both hands in the crack) makes it even more interesting. It’s a very different and ultimately satisfying experience.
For small climbers to steadily weave their way to the top.
A crisp and colourful-looking climb, which enables smaller climbers to steadily weave their way to the top, swopping and matching of hands and feet. The yellow route represents a major challenge even for taller climbers and requires great flexibility and problem solving abilities. Heaps of options and lots of colour!
Problem-solving with plenty of stamina, not a simple challenge.
Climbing is all about problem-solving and the solution is not immediately clear with this challenge. All the hold ‘fronts’ are the same and it is only by careful inspection that the various routes to the top are revealed (by the colour behind the holds). You’ll need plenty of stamina while identifying the orientation of the holds and you’ll discover that this challenge is not as simple as it looks.
Strong fingers and constant focus to work out the message.
Climb the message that says “Clip ‘n Climb is fantastic fun!” A disarmingly simple looking climb but one that quickly turns into quite a challenge with rubber holds that require constant focus, especially when tackling the red route. You’ll need strong fingers for the round ‘pinch’ holds… Work out the message with the use of the Morse Code Alphabet or try climbing just the dots!
Good balance, strong arms, steady legs and ability to hang out.
Similar in nature to Spaghetti Junction but with much longer ropes and slatted footholds, which require an altogether different climbing technique. This challenge requires good balance, strong arms, steady legs and the ability to ‘hang out’ from the wall: strength combined with patience and determination to follow the routes indicated by the ball colour. Swing on the ropes like Tarzan!
Race to the top with the Timer deciding who climbed fastest.
Hugely popular, this speed challenge provides for the naturally competitive instincts within us all. Usually set-up in pairs to race your mate to the top, it can also be installed as a single element, with the Timer being used to decide who climbed fastest, so that you can try to beat your own PB (personal best). LED lighting in corner moulds reinforces the fast-moving action. Place your feet quickly, to provide the drive and energy to climb the fastest way you can!
Spin your way to the top, little time for thinking or resting.
Spin your way to the top of this unique interactive challenge. Thanks to some clever background technology, each of the offset discs rotates to the left and right, leaving you little time for thinking or resting on the way to the top… You need fast hands and accurate footwork to maintain your balance: got to move quickly to beat this challenge!
Strong arms & good footwork needed. Mind the cheese-grater.
Great looking element with two distinct and steely challenges. On the back wall, the climber must have strong arms and good footwork to grapple their way to the top using the red bars. Foot placement like the side challenge is on sloped steel rails. The side climb is like climbing the inside of a door jamb. You’ll have a great satisfaction in beating these slippery challenges, but mind the cheese-grater descent if you don’t keep your elbows in!
Traversing left to right, Jug, undercling or pinch handholds.
This climb has a snakes-and-ladders look, but involves a series of challenges. Traversing from left to right and vice versa with vertical sections in between, the climber weaves their way to the top on one of the three routes (jug, undercling or pinch handholds). The transfer between vertical and traverse is another challenge in its own right… Get the thrill of traversing ‘on the edge’!
Think ahead, keep momentum and apply opposite pressure.
This climb requireS a different technique: bridging feet on holds on opposite sides, pushing down with the arms and using the legs to drive upwards. Facing out from the wall instead of at the wall, you’ll need to think ahead to maintain momentum and apply opposite pressure on the walls. Then, descend down the narrow chimney!
Natural looking rock face, which feels like a real challenge.
Beautifully sculpted in fibreglass, this element gives climbers an opportunity to climb a natural looking rock face, which feels like a real challenge. The features provide additional challenges as the climber works up to the overhang at the top. Traditional bolt-on climbing holds require climbers to utilise a variety of techniques on the large choice of hand grips.
face to face
Race your mate to the top of this very popular element.
Race your mate to the top of this very popular element. This stimulating and highly original climbing challenge uses commercial gauge clear acrylic. Heaps of options for interactive fun, with climbers on both sides striving to be first to the top. Use the slopers, jugs, side pulls and underclings to good advantage or challenge your mate to ‘mirror’ your moves!
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
Stay calm, no hands required just steady balance. Even try it ‘blindfolded’!
Stay calm and well balanced on this signature element that is always busy. No hands required, climbers are challenged instead to walk their way to the top, using steady balance and careful footwork to avoid the drop. Try it ‘blindfold’, scaling the wobbly poles, to jump off the top pole!
Leap of faith
TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH AND BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE
This adrenalin-pumping challenge is an immensely popular element. The goal is to climb up the central pole and onto the jump platform, from where the participant leaps out to catch hold of the trapeze.
